How to do gel nails step by step shows you the process of gel polishing. The most important thing to you need before gel polish is to get yourself a UV lamp. It\’s the only way to cure gel polish. And no, you cannot air dry gel nail polish. You can sit there 2 hours, and it will still be tacky without the UV lamp. For beginners and doing nail at home, you can invest in a cheap UV lamp that doesn\’t need all the fancy functions. In this video, I am using the OPI led lamp, which cures it super fast. The Gel Polish I used in the video is by IBD. The color is a nude beige color. You can also add designs over the gel polish once its cured. In video, I use a thin black brush and did a chevron nail design. For finish, you have to seal it with a gel topcoat.
